Colibri Coaching Philosophy to Parents
Today's world presents a challenging landscape for many individuals. For both young adults and teenagers, navigating this landscape can prove difficult and often frustrating as we seek better outcomes and solutions for ourselves. The challenge is that we often get lost or turned around on our path. We end up seeking many things believing they will bring us to that emotional state we desire.
Coaching offers Kids the opportunity to become empowered, more grounded, and have a more clarified sense of self. Coaching can yield positive results and convey a message similar to parents' desires.
Additionally, Coaching can help kids structure their time and find balance as well as assist with the development of positive decision-making and goal setting.
Coaching can also seek to address questions such as:
- How can I get my kid to care? - Lack of motivation
- Does not engage/participate - Low self-esteem
- Awkward in social situations - Low confidence
- Underperformance – School - Academic pressure
- Unfocused, no "big picture" - Lack of direction
You cannot expect to change what you cannot see. Only by changing our mind of false beliefs and assumptions can we see ourselves and other people more clearly.
By freeing yourself from the limiting patterns of old beliefs, we have the new opportunity to make better choices.
The first step in changing the way you create your life is self-awareness. Awareness of the mind and how to direct its thoughts, beliefs, and emotions open up new avenues of possibility. Your life becomes vastly different when you are the one directing your mind instead of letting it direct you.
